What we do
Small-group skill share series |
Community outreach workshops |
From kraut to kombucha, bread to beer, we're interested in it all. Members take turns leading workshops of 4-15 people. This event series is hosted in members' homes, and topics range from recipes and hands-on techniques to theory and history.
Potlucks, food swaps, discussion groups, and maker partiesLess formal than the skill share series, these meetings are a way to promote home fermentation in a social setting.

As a repository of fermentation experts and knowledge, we partner with local, community-minded organizations to bring workshops to the greater Madison area. We are available to schedule events upon request.
Support local networksWe believe in strengthening local grassroots collaboration, thus we work to bring together initiatives in Madison focused on food, sustainability, and education.
